Oak Grove Park is Back

NAS PENSACOLA, FL - Oak Grove RV Park aboard NAS Pensacola is back and fully operational! After 17 months, the beautiful and popular facility is finally at 100%. Hurricane Ivan nearly leveled the site with an estimated 20-foot storm surge on that fateful September night in 2004.

Nearly all of the one- and two- bedroom cottages located only yards from the sandy beach were either totally destroyed or heavily damaged by Ivan’s onslaught.

Today, you can make reservations for the one bedroom fully furnished cottage that sleeps six for only $75.00 per day or the two bedroom that sleeps seven for $90.00 per day. All cottages offer patios, picnic tables and charcoal grills. You just need to bring your food, beverages, beach towels, vacation clothes and Margaritaville attitude. No shoes, no shirts, no problems. Oh by the way, leave your pets at home or with a sitter please!
Oak Grove Park is also a favorite stop for RV’s, with full hookups to include 20’ x 40’ cement pads, water, power (up to 50 amps), sewage, cable TV and picnic tables. For only $17 per day for active duty and retired personal and $19 for DOD can park their “Home Sweet Home Trucks” for up to two months. Park perks include dump station, bathhouse, and laundry facilities. Fido is also welcome!

If you like to really rough it and enjoy sleeping on the ground in a bag (8) rustic sites are also available. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. A nominal fee of $6 - $7 a day for active duty/retired and DOD is charged respectively. Weekly and monthly rates are also available.
